I'm amazed at the number of women I notice who seem to stop dead in their tracks when a sneeze, laugh or cough comes on. Many of them casually cross their legs during these times to combat unfortunate stress incontinence.


And it doesn't matter where or when, taking extra physical measures to stop leakage is priority - browsing the shelves at a bookstore or walking down the street. Stress incontinence strikes even with the slightest of force. The old "stop and squeeze" method is a must, not to mention a pain.
