I am not a teenager. I am as interested in a support group as you are. I broke my back [T12 and S2] 9 months ago [Oct. 2008]. I am battling urinary incontenence and lack of sexual desire and non-activity. I do not give up. I could use some support.

ok . its been a few days now but things aint much better . i posted this on another site and if i post it here maybe it will help . im getting bored sitting around here . my best friend wants to have a sleepover for a few days . how do i tell him about my problem ? should i just tell him , tell him and his mom or have my mom talk to them ? i am also a nudist and he has seen me nude . but that never has bothered me . diapers on the other hand is totaly different . dont ask me dumb questions about being a nudist . there is plenty of info on the net for that unless you are genuinely thinking about becoming one . i been told about carrying a duffle bag whereever i go but people that know me knows that aint normal for me . any suggestions ? umm , mom has said she ordered cloth diapers and i am wondering what the difference between them are besides being cloth and disposable . for example , the feel , thickness and the such . how can i change in a public bathroom without people knowing what im doing ? when is the best and worst times to wear disposable and cloth ? thats all i can think of for now but im sure ill find nore to ask in time . if anyone has any tips on anything please let me know . ill keep in touch here so anyone who wants to be friends here are welcome .
I wet the bed on a regular basis, when I was younger I used to be afraid at scout camps and stay up all night ensuring I didn't wet the bed, which ruined most of the camps for me as I was so tired most of the time.
At school I was told my incontinence problem was down to having ADHD and a weak bladder (later on I found out that I also have Asperger's (Autism)).
I have found out now though that there are many people who wet the bed and most people are accepting when you tell them you still wet the bed. The scouts actually produce a guidance sheet on enuresis as it is such a large problem (the strange thing is though they don't tell the kids that they are aware of the problem, which if they did might make some of the kids relax about telling their leader and going on camps).
Since venture scout age I stopped worrying about people finding out I wet the bed and just let them know, up to now all the people have been totally understanding, the leaders at the scouts deal with it really discreetly, when one of my best mates found out he told me he used to wet the bed too.
With my weak bladder I also have a few accidents during the day as well if I can't find a toilet in time (with my autistic tendencies I also get really worked up about asking people where the nearest toilet is so that really doesn't help).
Most of the time I use disabled toilets to change in, many of these have quite large areas and usually have a special clinical bin inside them for incontinence and nappy waste to save the embarresment of coming out of the toilet and looking for some bin to put the nappy into.
During the day I tend to use Tena Slip with a Tena comfort pad inside, the slip holds the comfort pad up close (closer than the "support pants" do), and the comfort pad is quite easy to change when needed just by pulling the slip slightly down and then inserting a new pad and pulling the slip up again, then at night I use the Tena slip with no comfort pad as the Tena Slip hold a lot more than the comfort pads and stops the liquid going down the side when I'm on my side.
