He's taken the pills (and I'm sorry I can't remember the name anymore) and the nasal spray when he was a kid. At one point in his mid teen years he decided he had enough with taking any pills and abruptly stopped and refused to take any more. If he sleeps lightly or or a short period of time (4-5 hours) he won't have a problem.
