Hi I have replied a couple of times but am now registered so want to share my story. i have been enuretic since child hood and was put back into double cloth diapers and plastic pants when I was 12 or 13 and wore goodnights for light day time incontinence. I have a small bladder and my Mom tried every thing for me while growing up and has allways been understanding and supportive of me. I couldn't ask for a better Mom. I am still living at home and work part time and go to college part time so am doing ok though it is kind of hard to find friends that understand so am looking to improve that part of my life. I am not really ahamed of having to be diapered and wear protection during the day as it could be much worse then it is for me. Thanks

Hi. Tony James here from the U.K. I was 8 maybe 9 when I had to go back into diapers because of a traumatic experience (family problems, although I wasnt totally dry at night anyway) was also told I had a small bladder for my age which didnt help. I am also mid twenties. I used to wet 24/7 but now mostly at night, however I dont take any chances if going long distance in the day as accidents have happened so wear a diaper depending what or where I am doing / going.

Hi jonny was more lucky as was not a bed wetter as a child but alot older when incontinence came along due to enlarged prostate it is hard to adjust to diapers again after so long.The main thing is don't let it control your life.

Couldn't agree with you more Ron...any practical things you have done to not let it "control" your life. It's been a struggle for me not to dwell on how challenging it can be at times to adjust to diapers 24/7. It's inconvenient at best and sometimes depressing, but having a supportive wife is incredibly huge for me.

Hello,

I would like to re-assure you that you are not the only 26 year old still wetting the bed. I am 25 student from the U.K. (or was as I took my finals in July)

I was dry for a few years untill a death in the family made my mom have a nervous breakdown and was put back into diapers/nappies as I started bedwetting. I also have a younger cousin with wetting problems. I was not allowed to change myself untill I reached pubertry 14, so as my cousin would say, "its no big deal" being assisted with changing if there is a problem like with the diaper pins. I wet ocassionally in the day but its slowly drying up. Tony James.

dont feel bad man i weet the bed at 31 and have got to the point that i dont care who knows i aam comfortable in my diaper at night and i know that if i wet my bed will be dry dont let it get to you.

and if your friends cant accept your need to use diapers then as far as i am concerd they are not your friends

I was potty trained early. Was dry most night's. When I was 5 I had to share a room with my brother so we had bunk beds. One night I must have roll over or something in my sleep. I fell out of top bunk slamed in to a toy chest and that is all I rember. I came to in the hospital later that night. Not sure what happen but I starting wetting the bed again at night. My Mom put me back in diaper's at night. Was not to happy about that but I got used to it. The doctors told my mom he should get better in a few weeks. I think from what I can rember it was more like a few months. It never went away I would still wet the bed 1-2 a week . We finilly moved in to a bigger house were i got my own room. Meet a few friends in there area when I started school. It was still a pain because I never went over to any sleep overs because I was scared I would wet the bed. One day I think I was 6-7 my best friend asked why I did not want to stay over at his house. I did not tell him at first. One day I broke down and told him . He was very understanding about it and told me it was no big deal. We are still friends up to this day. I have to were diaper's most of the time now thanks to a drunk driver that hit my car when I was 20. It does not really brother me much any more because I was told I was lucky to be alive. I am now 27. It can be a pain but I got some really cool family and friends.
