Hi there

This is Merely Me from over on the depression and autism sites.

I happened upon your article and I just cannot shake this story.  How horrible.  My son who is 15...still wets the bed at night at times due to his medications and perhaps due to his autism.  I just cannot imagine a parent doing this to a child.  With such a story I think about what this poor child went through before he died.  What are people thinking?

It is not that uncommon for many boys to bedwet even at later ages...with and without special needs.  It is not something a child does on purpose.

You hope that someone will read this and maybe understand that denying a child water is not going to help a child to stop bedwetting and it might even kill them.

Thank you for writing this.  I was very personally affected by this story.
