Are the USA clinical trials for stem cell injections to clear urinary incontinence super thorough, or are they just plain slow?  The clinical trials at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center in Canada, at Beaumont Hospital outside Detroit, and at Vanderbilt Health Center in Nashville, TN. all are related.  They all use stem cells grown at Cook Myosite.  These clinical trials have been going on since 2007.  They still haven't reached the male portion of the clinical trials.  Obvioulsly, no one conducting the study is suffering from urinary incontinence, or there would be urgency in moving the clinical trials forward to completion rather than just serving as milestones for the publication of scientific papers.  At least in the clinical trial (No. NCT00472069) in Paris, France they are doing male and female studies at the same time.
