New Roads We Take...Flomax & Foley's

By Daniel Saturday, October 09, 2010

It isnt as surprising as it once was,but in life we never know what is coming.Trying to adjust my lifestyle to Foley's,I have to confess I'm thankful I dont need them all the time for my BPH,but it does change how things are done.I use protection for my incontinence, but with the cath,it does make me look for another route to make it easier. My Dr said the Foley will take care of things when you have a BPH issue. Also with Flomax,(0.8) hopefully on a steady pace to keep going

I can do this....as I know in time more will come,I'm not ready for the surgen

Unless you have total and constant incontinence I don't know why you would wear the Foley. There are other less invasive collection devices. Why the Foley??

Its not for the incontinence,it is for when my BPH "acts up" and I cannot go. GP told me its better then going into emergency,as all they will do is insert a foley.

But why not other collection devices?

I have tried them,as mentioned in another post,I have a inverted penis, and most of them do not work for me,also the foley is to keep me peeing,it opens the path when my BPH is acting up
