I have been incontinent since 1993,I have been so lucky my wife has supported me fully, and guided me when needed. She fully excepts my incontinence and helps me feel comfortable and secure. It really helps me,and makes being incontinent much safer. Also am impotent.

My wife is very supportive as well. I have dealt with overactive bladder all my life, but wasn't diagnosed until late 2003. I also deal with some stress incontinence & some bed wetting. My wife helps me find the best deal possible on my supplies. I use Guard for Men during the day & either protective underwear, adult diaper or Tena's super/night pad in their pad & pant system at night. It just depends what I have on hand at the time. We have two kids w/ the third on the way

I was a bedwetter until my late teens and then, everything seems to have gone away, and I was now like evryone else.

Went off to school, got a job, wife and kids, everything was good.  Had the occasional bedwetting(1-2 times a year), but besides that, nothing.

Then people noticed I started to go to the bathroom quite often.  This developped into what I would call OAB.  I eventually started to wet the bed at night again at 30 years old and had daytime urgency.  At 32, my wife and I decided it would be best if I wear a diaper at night.  That was a littler embarassing to say the least.Embarassed And it also interferes with sexual activity.  My wife is not a big fan of me wearing a diaper to bed.

During the day, the urgency would come and go.  Sometimes I would barely make it, but always managed.  When it would realy flare up, I would wear a diaper if we were out shopping or travelling for extended hours.  I  put off seeing a doctor, because I've also done alot of research on the issue, and it seems you simply move on from one drug to another, and one way of dealing with the wetness to another.  I'm beeing treated for BPH; however, my prostate is not much larger than a healthy prostate.

I'm now 40 years old. I wear cloth diapers at night.  They are the only thing that will keep the bed dry 99% of the time. I also wear diapers during the day now, again because of OAB, but recently, my bladder just lets go.  I don't know that I had to go.  So now its 24/7 in diapers.  And because I work in an office, I find that guards for men or even the cloth likeness of a disposable diaper are not good for men.  When the bladder decides to let go, I usely end up wet on both sides, by my front pockets.  I wish they could do something for that.

Suggest you try a McGuire urinal or a system made by Arcus under their Afex brand.

My husband recently (July 2008) had his Bladder removal which has left him incontinent and with ED. He had been able to control his new bladder during the day rather well but has not been able to do so during the night. It has been 5 months and he is still sleeping on a blowup matterss because we have been unalble to find a night time solution. The diapers are soaked as well as the pad. We have not found a suitable solution to protect our mattress from the excessive bedwetting. He has not had a good night sleep since his surgery. Washing bed linens twice during the night not to mention a blow up matteress is not like our bed. If he doses for a moment there is a good chance of wetting. I would also like to hear from anyone who has also had the same type of surgery as him and the outcome of your ED. I have recently purchased him a Penis pump in hope of restoring the blood flow. His prostraste was removed along with his bladder but we hope the surgery went well in respect to nerve sparing. Has anyone with this type of surgery been able to restore erectal function and if so how long after surgery?

Suggest you try a McGuire urinal day and night and possibly a system made by Arcus Medical under their Afex brand for daytime use.
