It doesn't seem likely that pruritis ani would "cause" frequent urination, but there may be a connection between the two conditions. Frequent or urgent urination are classic signs of a urinary tract infection, and a common cause of both pruritis ani and urinary tract infection is yeast infection (candidiasis). This could be the link.  - MG
