Q: RE: Bladder augmentation

(See Dr. Sobol's post: http://www.healthcentral.com/incontinence/c/52/25359/bladder) If a bladder is augmented, do the bladder muscles stop working completely? Or do they have limited function that won't allow the "new" bladder to empty completely, requiring periodic cathing? Curious if this might help two problems I'm having. Thanks,
