The medication you're referring to is estriol, the major component of the brand name drugs Bi-Est and Tri-Est. Estriol has shown positive effects for urinary incontinence.   A Swedish study of 40 postmenopausal women with urinary incontinence for up to a decade had a 75 percent improvement with vaginal estriol. Eight of the participants who had lost their ability to regulate urination returned to normal.   If you're interested in exploring estriol as a treatment, talk with your doctor. Best of luck.  - MG
