For most people, it takes about 45-60 minutes for a medication to get into the bloodstream. A lot depends on whether you've eaten something, consumed alcohol or caffeine, or any of a number of other things.
It might take you longer to begin to feel the effects. Follow the directions on the package/bottle carefully, and NEVER take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor or a pharmacist first.
