Q: What kind of pain can I expect post TVT?

And how long does it take for the sutures to dissolve?

Most people report minimal pain following TVT surgery, but heavy lifting and intercourse is usually restricted for four to six weeks following the procedure. Some people experience some pain during the first 48 hours, and in that case the doctor may prescribe a painkiller.
