Doctors are people, and as such, they naturally have different interests and abilities. Some are very interested in treatment incontinence, others are interested in treating anything their patient is concerned about, and others really prefer to stick with one or two specialties. Many gynecologists are very interested in treating incontinence, so trying asking yours. If you feel that you aren't being taken very seriously, try talking to a urologist or a urogynecologist (a gynecologist with a special interest in urology issues).
