Q: Can I give my wife a yeast infection if we are intimate before I shower?

I hope this question is ok to ask. I was wondering if by chance I can give my wife a yeast infection(s) if we are intimate and I dont shower first (I am talking about urine)? There has been several times that in the morning we are intimate without me taking a shower and all that other stuff I normally do and she has had several yeast infections, and I want to make sure they are not from me.

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, men can get yeast infections, too. Although sexual transmission of yeast infections is uncommon, doctors generally recommend that you refrain from sexual contact until the infection is cleared up. And, if you AND your partner have symptoms of yeast infection, you should both be treated. Otherwise, you're probably just reinfecting each other.   - MG
