Hi,

Everytime I have to see the Doctor I always have issues if I have leaked and my diaper is damp. I change right before I leave for my appointment, but as usual I always leak. I do appologize, and she acts like it is nothing, but I do wonder if I should change in the restroom at the Doctors office right before my appointment? I did that several times, and I still wasn't dry.

Thanks,

Mike

Could this be happening because you feel anxious about your doctor's appointment? If so, that's understandable. Anxiety is a known risk factor for incontinence. If your doctor doesn't react or seem concerned about it, maybe that's your answer. But if you're still worried, be sure to talk to her about it.  - MG

Mike - Your doctor doesn't care. They've seen it all before. I used to worry about that, too. But the chance of me arriving for an appointment dry is almost non-exsitent! None of my doctors have ever sais anything about it, except my prmary care provider. She wanted to know how may diapers I use in a day, and then offered to have them provided by the VA.

So, bottom line, don't worry about it.
