I was using cipro about 10 days for an infection. During the time I used cipro I had my menstruation which started on august 26. Now the 4th of october I have not had my period yet since then. I am not pregnant. Can Cipro affect the menstruation cycle? I am not using any other medication at all.

I was on Cipro for 5 days and this same thing is happening to me.  I am sure I am not pregnant, but my menstruation seems to be delayed. Were you ever able to find out if it was from the Cipro?

Hi,

I am also using Cipro and I haven't had my menstruation yet. My doctor says that it could be the reason but I don't know. I am not pregnant for sure. I did a test.

Have you now had your menstruation as usual?

I hadn't had my menstruation for 3 months, now I am back to normal as usual, regular even. so I think it had to do with Cipro. I thought it was a bit scary you start thinking wat is going on? and they all said Cipro could not be the problem. it was the only thing that "changed" during that time.
