Q: Hydration and Incontinece: Should I be drinking more fluids despite having to go all the time?

I go twelve plus times a day... most of the time I don't make it to the toilet becuase I have little control.  I am on anti-biotics for different types of infections, but not bladder infection.    They told me to drink lots of fluids, but it just makes me go more often and in higher volume.  I am almost going through an entire package of diapers a day now with the extra fluids, but if I cut back fluids I can go with half or at most a third.

Currently I am using the Prevail Breezers, becuase they were on sale.    I had small leaks prior to the extra fluids, now its heavy and often.  I am going to switch to an even less expensive diaper becuase it is so frequent.  I am at home anyways, becuase I have to change so often.    I don't want to be dehydrated, but?

my husband has not a good night sleep for the last 30 years at least. when he goes to bed after about an hour he wakes and has to urinate (he has a feeling of a full bladder) and then within another hour has the same symtoms. Its like this allnight long, so he is sleep deprived. He tries to dehydrate himself by not drinking fluids after 2pm. do you have any ideas what to do. he has had a turp and other prostate procedures and nothing works......his prostate is not the problem.
