Q: What kind of pain can I expect post Artificial Sphincters

Iam going surgery at the VA.No one has told me how much painUndecided this will be or how long recovery is`

Pain after artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) surgery is most often due to infection or breakdown of implant parts. Infected or eroded devices require removal. Chronic pain without infection or erosion is rare.
