I don't use a pessary, but I do cath fairly frequently, and Surgilube works best for me. It is bacteriostatic. Not a problem in my bladder (indeed, it is what my doctor recommends) but you should check with yours before using a bacteriostatic lubricant. It comes in tube form and in convenient foil packs.
