My pregnant daughter has had several UTI's during pregnancy. Are antibiotics not killing the germs?

My daughter is expecting her 2nd baby. She's had UTI's in the past. But, this pregnancy, she's had them several times. Her Dr. gives her the same antibiotic every time. Some doses are for 5 days, some for 7 & some for 10. It goes away for awhile, but it always...
