Q: Am I the only one that is 26 that still needs diapers and plastic pants at night?

I have been diapered for bed since childhood and still need them at 26. This some times really makes my social life kind of empty and in spite of all of the support from my Mom and family I get lonly at times and wish that I actualy had friends that I could talk to about bedwetting and stuff. I am greatful for the way that diapers and plastic pants keep my bed dry but some times find myself wishing that I never wet the bed and stuff. Any answers would be apreciated.

No your not alone. I still use diapers at times during the night. Mainly when I travel. I do use diapers at home when I've had very long day. I know that I'll be so sound asleep that I'll not wake up to use the restroom. Your young meet people & do things.

Thanks

Hi, I am a 58 year old man thet started to wet the bed a few years ago and turned to disposable diapers for protection at bedtime. I also use them sometimes during the day. I had a difficult time dealing with my problem, but found a lot of help and advice after joining this site. You do not mention anything about a medical problem,or seeing a doctor. I adjusted my eating and drinking habits quite a bit. I suggest you ask one of the experts on this site for help and or advice. Reply

The direct answer is "no", you are not the only one that has to wear protection at night. Some of us have to wear protection 24/7.

I don't understand how diapers affect your social life. I always told the person I was interested in before the second date on the phone so she had a very easy way not to see me if it bothered her, and I never had issues.

Take it from me, that it is all about how you carry yourself. I refused to allow my "issues" to controll my life.

Move on, it is what it is, and make the best of it!

no you're not the only one. Just like you i am also 26, live in minnesota, and wear diapers nightly.  I've been wearing them since I was 10. Like you I live with my mom and she is quite understanding of my need to wear. I have just started to wear cloth diapers within the past few years, after years of wearing disposables. I don't know which I prefer more, walking around with a Attends rustling under my pajama pants or wearing a thick Comco pre-fold with the obvious bulge. To this day i am still slightly embarassed if i'm caught in just my diapers but i'm pretty used to it.  You would never know walking into my room that the big cabinet in the corner was stocked with Molicares, Bambinos, Attends, Secure X-Plus and about two dozen cloth diapers and some onzies. Even i sometimes have laugh at it when i see it opened or when i see myself in the mirror after i just got ready for bed, knowing i'm a grown man who depends on the same thing as a toddler can sometimes put you in your place.
