going to have a super pubic cath and tie off uretha so no leakage. Will this do away with leakage.

dr is putting in super pubic cath and will tie off uretha due to continual leakage that I am having now with foley cath Ive had for 14 months. Will this totally do away with uretha leakage and will it cut down on UTI's I have all the time now?
