Q: Urinary urgency

I saw that radiation therapy can be a rare cause for urinary urgency - is this radiation therapy anywhere to the body or specific to the kidney, bladder, etc? I had radiation therapy to my left breast but I have been having a problem with urinary urgency since.

I wish I had an answer for you but all I can offer is a "me too."  I am almost finished with my radiation (cooincidentally, also to left breast) and have started feeling a very strong urgency to urinate, especially when I'm about to, and there's a slight burning as well.  I was hoping it would go away when the radiation is over.  I'm very curious to know how radiation could cause this....
