Q: What is usual dose of ditropan

Hi Kath,

 

Thank you for your question! There are several doses of Ditropan available. The original Ditropan, which is now available as oxybutynin, comes in a 5 mg strength and is usually dosed 1 tablet 2 or 3 times a day. Ditropan XL, which is available in 5 mg, 10 mg, and 15 mg extended release tablets, is usually dosed once daily, up to a maximum dose of 30 mg per day. I hope this helps!
