Frequent Urination

Topics:Frequent Urination

I frequently urinate(high volume). Problem is worse when I consume large amount of carbs or when I weight train. I drink 1/2 cup of coffee in AM and 1 glass of red

wine in the PM. Had radiation for prostate cancer 10 years ago but am not incontinent and PSA remains very low (< 0.2). Problem causes dry mouth ,eyes and mild constipation.

I don't take any meds just herbs, vitamins and minerals. It's like I'm on a strong

diuretic. Nobody has been able to give me any answers or solutions to my problem.

Please help.

Coffee and wine can both irritate the lining of the bladder, and it is thought that caffeine may act as a diuretic. You can try taking any alcohol, caffeine, decaf coffee (also an irritant, even without the caffeine), and carbonated beverages out of your diet completely for a couple of weeks to see if you notice any change.
