Hi Martin, Thank you for your question. Flomax (generic name tamsulosin) is only FDA approved for the treatment of BPH. That is not to say that it isn't helpful in other conditions, but it is not approved for the treatment of other diseases or conditions. I hope this answers your question. Best of luck, Casey
