Q: Hi,I am not sure if the TVT operation l had in 2007 is causing the problems l have. Jacky.

My problems started not long after the operation and is a recurring problem. This involves my vagina and outer lips becoming sore and swollen whereby l cannot sit down for any length of time. This condition usually lasts about two or three weeks and then clears up like an infection. However l have been in this condition for some six weeks now without relief? I can only wear the loosest of panties as everything irritates my vagina if my clothes are touching/rubbing it. Obviously my sex life is non existent and it feels as though there is a blockage in my vagina, there is a swelling at one side inside my vagina, l am not sure if this is my bladder or where the surgeon went in to attach the TVT? I have done the usual rounds of doctors and gyno's without success and non of them have suggested my problems are the TVT operation. Has anyone out there got the same symptoms as me? I would like to hear your views so l do not feel so alone with this problem. I am in the UK and my email if anyone wants to get in touch is meshmess@yahoo.co.uk. Many Thanks.Jacky.
