After incontinence surgery, some people still have temporary urinary troubles. Most of these situations usually resolve within 6 weeks after surgery. Hang in there, and be sure to stay in touch with your doctor on this. Best of luck.   - MG

Surgery will often reduce the amount of leakage, but many people still experience some degree of leakage afterwards. While I agree with Maria that you should wait a bit for now because the leakage may lessen with time, please be prepared that you still may leak slightly. I would talk to your doctor about when you can resume pelvic floor exercises.
