Q: How do I find a list of doctors that treat incontinence?

 

I am seeking to see a doctor who treats this disorder

You can start by speaking to your general practitioner to see if they are interested in treating incontinence, or can refer you to someone who is. After that, men and women can both try seeing urologists, which you can find through the American Urological Association at www.urologyhealth.org.

 

Women can see a specialist called a "urogynecologist". found through the American Urogynecologic Association at http://www.mypelvichealth.org/FindaProvider/tabid/75/Default.aspx

contact your local hospital or do search on your health insurances website. Look in specialists under urologist. Then decide if want a man or woman doctor
