Dont take this the wrong way or anything, but I think that its mostly up to your son. I mean, he's diapered, yeah, but how does he feel about it? If he likes it and it's not causing any self-esteem or social/public issues with his friends or anything, then he should be able to wear them. If he wants to be trained, then train him like a parent would to their child- no different. Wetness-Alarm pull-ups, regular/set times to go on the toilet, things like that. If he does and it's succesful, but he has an urge to go back to diapers, I myself wouldn't approve of it, but if he has a deep, strong urge to, then I would let him, with ground rules (no wearing in public, no telling friends, etc.), of course. But don't let him for too long if he does, because they can sometimes can temporerily or perminatly become incontinent. I don't know wether or not this problem has alreaddy been resolved, but if it hasn't I hope this info helps you.
P.S. sorry for any spelling mistakes.
