I now have to wear a nappie full time, and have absolutely no control over my bladder. Is there any kind of surgery that will rectify this problem.?

There is a surgery out there to put a artificial sphincter in place of yours...  Sounds to me like your sphincter muscles were damaged in surgery...  I would talk to your doctor or a specialist about your problem...
