Hi, can a foley catheter cause trauma to the neck of the bladder and or urethra while pushing during labor? Thank you in advance!!!!

My wife delivered our three month old with foley in becuase she had an epicdurel vagnial delivery & it never bothered her or did any damaged that we know of.
