Q: How well do luggage compressor packing aids work for carrying absorbent products?

I am thinking of flying out somewhere for a summer vacation lasting several days and was thinking of using one of those clear plastic compressor packing boxes to carry extra pads. Do they work out ok or is it difficult to uncompress the pads after you take them out. Do they work better with reusable cloth absorbent padding instead of disposables?

Hi John,

Great question. Let's see if any of our other community members respond with firsthand knowledge/experience.

Otherwise, I suggest contacting the customer service department of the company that makes such compressable packing/traveling products, as you'd think they would best know the capabilities of their products as far as the expected condition of specific items upon decompression.

Or better yet, chat with the folks in customer service at the company that makes your disposable absorbent products. They, too, should know how their products will hold up.

Good luck and let us know if you learn anything new.

Best,

Maria
