Hi John,   Great question. Let's see if any of our other community members respond with firsthand knowledge/experience.   Otherwise, I suggest contacting the customer service department of the company that makes such compressable packing/traveling products, as you'd think they would best know the capabilities of their products as far as the expected condition of specific items upon decompression.   Or better yet, chat with the folks in customer service at the company that makes your disposable absorbent products. They, too, should know how their products will hold up.   Good luck and let us know if you learn anything new.   Best, Maria
