Q: My mom has urinary incontinence and my aunt has bowel incontinence. Looking for help for them.

My mom has urinary incontinence and my aunt has bowel incontinence. I am looking for help for them.

I'm trying to find the best products and the least cost to help them. My Mom is spending too much time changing clothes and laundering..it's debilitating. She uses just pads right now, but they obviously don't work that well. I live over an hour away, so I'm not able to be there to help her. My aunt is having the same problem, except with bowel incontinence, at least 2-3 times a week. I need help finding products that will help her similarly.

Are there comfortable, effective briefs that are washable that they could use with inserts? I've read a little about them online, but I wanted to find out what to recommend to them. If I suggest something and it doesn't work, they're likely to give up on the whole thing. The throw-away kind are pretty expensive. If you can't recommend brands, please tell me at least what to look for and what they are called. Thank you very much.
