Hi I just googled detrol and children and found your post. I have a five yr. old girl who has also  been prescribed Detrol. She is taking 2mg, twice a day. It has helped her quite a lot. I was just wondering if you went ahead and gave this medication to your daughter and what your experience has been.   It is very hard to connect/find anyone who has a similiar issue.   My daughter was experiencing pretty severe urgency/frequency issues for a few months. It was not until we started this med. that we noticed a big improvement. She has been taking it since July of this yr. We are going back to the pediatric urologist next month for a follow up. I am just wondering...how long will she have to take this and is it really safe for a young growing child?   Thank you any info. you would like to talk about would be great. sharon
