Q: Diaper Design

I wear cloth diapers and plastic pants day and night by choice. They generally work for me, but I find when I travel I need an alternative diapering solution. It has been my experience that most of the disposable day diapers I have worn leak (6 out of 10) and almost all disposable overnight diapers (9 out of 10) leak because I sleep on my side and there is no padding on the sides. Travel with cloth is embarassing at best (metal detectors and luggage searches) but I prefer dry clothes and a dry bed. When will the manufaturers learn that some of us sleep on our sides and make a better disposable?
