and was givin a script for a 10 day supply of Bactrim DS 800 mg....after a few days I felt better,but then all the crap came back..Now its beginning to burn as i urinate...im 56 male,diabetic,cancer in bladder and prostrate....

If you are still having symptoms, the Bactrim may not have cleared up your UTI. I would ask my doctor again. You may have some bacteria resistant to Bactrim and you may need another type of antibiotic.

UTIs can become serious infections if they are not treated completely, which may be the case. You can try calling your doctor to speak with him or her over the phone to see what to do next.
