My doctor said it is due to enlargement of prostate.This frequency is not very regular.Some night it is 7/8, some night it is 3/4.Daytime also it varies. Hello Harshad: My suggestion to you would be to meet with a urologist as soon as possible and get some answers and possible help to meet your needs. The need to get up 7-8 times a night must really compromise your sleep. And, needing the restroom so frequently during the day must make it somewhat difficult for you. I would think the medical guys could help you in some way. If you have accidents, well there is help for that, however, getting some control over your 7-8 times a night and also during the day will help your outlook on everyday life.
