In response to:

Bentyl is a smooth muscle relaxant and the urinary bladder is a smooth muscle oran. bentyl is not a drug that is prescribed for urinary tract infections. It's efficacy as a smooth muscle relaxant has been questioned however that is not a topic for this forum. If an anti-spasmodic is needed, there are far better agents in the category of anti-cholinergics.
