The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved two generic versions of the urinary urge incontinence medication Ditropan XL. Drugmakers Impax and Teva say they will begin marketing the generic version in 5 mg and 10 mg dosages immediately. The FDA approved a 15 mg dose in 2006.
