Tips on ways to "retrain" your overactive bladder

Is it possible to retrain your overactive bladder? Experts say it is. The secret, they say, is to wait several minutes when you feel the urge to urinate. Start by waiting five minutes after you feel the need to go to the toilet, and gradually increase to 10 and 20 minutes. Researchers say that using this method along with kegal exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor will help “retrain” your bladder and decrease symptoms of urge incontinence.
