For long term reminders, I use a free internet service called ask sandy.com - you can put in reminders & dates & it will show up in your daily emails. 

 

I do recommend developing memory skills - don't depend on lists too much.

 

Also remember that stress makes you stupid!

I've been writing on my hands for years (have fibromyalgia, which has a brain fog of its own) and have post-its everywhere. It's a great idea, especially if you remember to look at your reminder notes. Which I tend to forget. ;)
