Q: what if ovaries are enlarged after menopause

recent vaginal ultrasound shows both overies enlarged, one more than other

Hello nb,

There are a variety of causes to enlarging ovaries, but the bottom line is that we expect them to get smaller after menopause, not larger.  I'm glad you are evidently under the care of a doctor and I would like to encourage you to follow through on the tests that will probably be ordered, possibly including a biopsy, so that you can get an answer to your situation.  This is not a condition to ignore.  It may well be a completely benign problem, but it needs attention now.
