Hi again,  The drug you mention is a synthetic estrogen and synthetic testosterone combination.  Depending on the symptoms, response time varies.  If you have hot flashes, they will probably fade in less than 2 weeks.  Synthetics vary a lot in how much they may or may not help with other symptoms.  Symptoms like vaginal dryness, fuzzy brain, dry skin/hair, heart palpitations may take up to a couple of months to lessen.  Even though you've had a hysterectomy, you would benefit from being on progesterone because that's what helps moods and sleep.  Most docs still tell women without a uterus they don't need progesterone, but they're not considering all the benefits of this hormone.  They're only thinking about uterine protection.  Some women will get help with their sex drive from the testosterone in your drug, but many don't.  Again because it's not real testosterone.  If you have someone in your area who prescribes bioidentical hormones, that would be the best place for you to get the right kind of help.  Look up compounding pharmacies in the Yellow Pages.  Those pharmacists are usually in the know about who in your area is an expert in menopause.

Good luck to you,

Watch this video about menopause and menstruation, a normal, natural shedding process of the uterine lining that occurs monthly in all healthy adult women after puberty.
