I have no STD, no UTI, or anything else. My hormone count is right. I'm only difficient in vitamin D which I'm taking vitamin D3 for it. The last doctor told me to put vitamin D3 oil in my vigina to help. But it didn't. I'm frustrated and sex is really painful as well. Please help!!

Hi, Isabella,

What type of doctor have you been going to? You may want to go to an OB/GYN to see if they can help you figure this out.

Let me know more information and I'll try to help you figure out a solution (or at least the right person to talk to).

Hello Dorian,

Thank you for your response. I live in Germany. I went to 4 different OB/GYN and the last one is a Phd professor in women's infections, diseases and so on. He prescribed Sobelin for me which helped a lot. But as soon as I finish it, the symptoms come back again. He also gave me flora to stabilize my viginal ph balance and also an estrogen creme. They're not helping. The symptoms are burning and sting like needles. I'm using now virgin olive oil for the last 2 days. It subsided the symptoms about 50% now. I went to the PHD doctor again and he said that he can't do anything else to help me anymore. So, I'm on my own. If he couldn't help me, I guess no one can :'(

Don't give up! If I were in your shoes, I'd contact a medical facility that has a link to a university medical school and start exploring if they have a solution to your issue.

The phd women's doctor is in the university medical school. He told me he can't do anything else anymore cause everything looks normal and good. I told him that I'm not imagining things and it's very uncomfortable and embarassing to have such pain when I'm outside my house. Oh well, I will wait for a week to see if the olive oil will take care of the problem. BTW, I'm training for a marathon in 2 months. I hope the symptoms will go away by then.

I just had another idea. I'd suggest that you figure out how to contact some of the doctors (such as Dr. Mehmet Oz or Dr. Christiane Northrup) who have shows on TV or radio and send your situation into them.  Perhaps they can help you come up with a medical diagnosis to solve your issue.

Take care!

Hi Isabella,

I am in worse situation as I had uterus removal. So I am dry for sure with little hormone.... Sometimes I take plant hormone from the health store. I complained to the doctor and they said try the lubricant or Replens (the lubricant that can go up inside.) They told me whatever works will help. It is nothing they can really do except with lubrcants or hormone. I am not recommended to use hormone therapy as I had cancer before.

It helps me to put the lubricant on. Replens is Ok but it is so much work...

There is vigina dryness lotion/lubricants. Some nurse even said some soap may stimulate too much to make it hurt. I hope you know what is good for you - like what soap or stimulant you may have without knowing...

Sorry you feel so bad. The lubrican works best if it goes inside as well, not just the external area.

Hope you will get better, Didn't know oilive oil helps. I guess it is the way it is - we just need to apply it like dry skin with lotion.

(You need to always apply the lubricant or lotion on the dry area right before you try to have sex. I do that.)

It is like a constant thing you do...

Good luck!

Take care,

NC

Dorian & NC, thank you so much for your support and help. I've been applying olive oil for a week now, and the condition is completely gone. It's amazing. I have not felt this good and normal down there in almost 6 months. I didn't know that my cure was right in my pantry. Pure virgin olive oil is an ancient remedy to all kind of ailments. But never thought in my wildest dreams that it is the one to viginal dryness. Hurray to olive oil :o))

You may have lichen sclerosis, doctors don't seem to recognise this condition, until prompted. I had to diagnose this myself, with the help of the Internet and an article in a magazine. There is an ointment or cream which will deal with the itchiness and burning, but I am sorry to tell you there is no cure. You can only get this ointment by priscription from your doctor. It is a betnovate cream.. I hope you find this helpful.. Reply

Thank you Merrybell so much for your help and reply. I'm already cured from this inflamation since last April, thank God. I used extra virgin olive oil which is stored in a tin to prevent the light from penetrating the oil. What I also found out was that I gained weight and so my pants were very tight on me and were rubbing on my vigina. That was why my vigina was inflamed all the time and the stupid doctors misdiagnosed me and started giving me the wrong medication which made the situation even worse and killed all my good flora (good bacteria). I'm glad that there are people like you who really cares. Thank you!

You may have lichen sclerosis ,doctors always seem to miss this. I had to diagnose myself with information picked up from magazines and internet. There is cream or ointment,Betnovate, which is excellent, but must be prescribed by your doctor,it cannot cure the condition ,as it cannot be cured. I hope you will find this helpful. Reply
