Q: I'm a female 56 yrs. old. on Estrogen from hysterectomy and have started Profuse Sweating

I'm a female 56 yrs. old. who's had full hysterectomy in 1987 and have been on 2 mg of Estradiol for a approx. 18 - 20 yrs.

Approx. 1-1/2 to 2 yrs. ago, I started Profuse Sweating. I've told my Internist and my Gynocologist. No changes were made.

Sweat runs down my face, back, etc. even in the Winter ! ! ! I'm very hot natured and freeze my husband with the air. I'm miserable, embarrassed, and it wears me out. What could be wrong with me, or what do you suggest I do next?

I'm close to Atlanta where Emory is.
