Q: periods missed for 2-3 months then have a period every 28-30 days the next 6 months

If you are asking if this is normal, it is.  Once you are into perimenopause, your periods can become very irregular.  You may skip months at a time and then be regular for awhile or just irregular all the time until your hormones are finally low enough that the bleeding stops for good.
