Hi Rosemary,

With no bleed for 1+ year, it is highly unlikely that you could get pregnant.  The simplest way to be sure is to have a follicle stimulating hormone test (FSH) at your clinic.  If you are postmenopausal by blood level test, you can't get pregnant.

If you do need to contracept, an IUD is an excellent method for someone in your situation...also the diaphragm and/or condoms are great methods if you use them. :)

Good luck,

Sandy

The more it is over 25 the better.  Labs vary from place to place but it you're in the 25-30 range or more, you should be okay.

I'll keep my fingers crossed :)
